The Epic Guide: Blogging and Business Tools for Growth

I compiled this EPIC Guide to Blogging and Business tools for growth + success. This if for you if you think you can’t afford to be a successful business owner. You always see all this glitter and glamour but yet, instead of encouraging you to move forward and strive towards (enter awesome thing that you think will magically change your business here) it just puts you in a slump. You can’t go on, there is NO way in the world you can be successful because let’s face it, your broke and unless you earn something, you can’t invest anything.

Have you ever thought any of these things? I have. Tons. More than once, probably more than 100 times over the last 8 months.

I got an email from one of my favorite blog and business owners who talked briefly about all of the free resources you can use to create your online course, from idea to design to implementation. This got me thinking. When I first started my business I could ONLY (only, only, only) afford FREE. I didn’t have money to invest, no secret piggy bank to pull from, and I remember spending hours and days on end searching the net for how to make my business work, for free.

You can read more about how I got started with my biz HERE

What I have learned is that of course, when you have some money to invest you have a ton of options. You can get the premium themes, the magic plugins (because there is one for everything, right?). You can sign up for the premium photo subscriptions and be the first student to enroll in the must have courses for the season.

The GREAT thing about the net, is that there is so many free and middle of the road (enter name of anything here) that you can blog and do business beautifully without having to spend a ton of cash to do it. From design programs, fonts and graphics for branding to courses, themes for a beautiful blog design and workshops and social media tools you can literally find SO much great stuff for not a single PENNY. Some of my favorite creative business owners are so super generous with their time and resources, that it is silly not to invest time into improving your blog or business for free.
